Screen time limits
Designed for cooperation
Clear for parents. Fair for kids.
Set one daily limit or fine-tune by app and category, school days and weekends. Your child always sees how much time is left, so a limit is a shared fact instead of a surprise.
- Daily limit for the whole device, with separate school-day and weekend values
- Per-app and per-category limits for games, social, video and more
- Always-allowed essentials: phone, messages, maps and school apps
- Warnings at 10, 5 and 1 minute before time is up
- Pause all and Add 15 minutes from the parent dashboard
How it works
- 01
Pick a daily limit
Start with one number for the whole phone. Split it by day type when you are ready.
- 02
Group the apps
Use categories such as games or video so you set rules, not a list of 60 apps.
- 03
Let your child see it
A countdown ring and gentle warnings replace the surprise block screen.
Questions about screen time limits
Can I set different limits for school days and weekends?
Yes. Each child can have one limit for school days and another for weekends and holidays, and you can add one-off exceptions for a cinema trip or a sick day.
Can some apps be excluded from the limit?
Yes. Mark essentials such as phone, messages, maps and school apps as always allowed, and they keep working when the limit ends.
What happens when time runs out?
Your child sees a friendly time-is-up screen, can still use the always-allowed apps, and can ask you for more time. You decide whether to approve.
